Arctic Monkeys - The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala + Reckless Serenade

Hello, is this thing on? It's been quite a while since my last post, I apologize (to my two readers), I've been really busy with studying and working. I look forward to the day The Quiet Floor is my full time job. Hopefully that's soon because real work is for the birds.
So here's an album that I've been stuck on for the last week. Like the good kind of stuck. It's the British band Arctic Monkeys' latest album that came out in June, cheekily entitled Suck It and See. Before this album, I had never really liked much about the Arctic Monkeys. I found their sound gimmicky and easy to get bored of, like many of their new era British rock band contemporaries (see: Franz Ferdinand). But for whatever reason, this album clicked for me. I play the entire album through and as soon as it's done I go back to the beginning and start over.
Choosing one track to post from the album is too difficult, so I'm going with two songs that I really like from the album. The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala is an instantly catchy song. I think it's the 'Shalalala' part that hooks me in. I really like lead singer Alex Turner's vocals and the bass in the song is pretty awesome too. As for Reckless Serenade, it's a nice little song that got stuck in my head after a few listens. It might be my favorite song on the album, I can't decide. Check these songs out below, I recommend it:
