Last Dinosaurs - Honolulu

Karim can attest that this post has been long overdue for me. When I first heard Last Dinosaurs they did remind me of a couple of bands at first, but after listening to the whole EP the similarities started to fade. I couldn't get over the fact of how smooth their sound was.  Even with the banging drums and the yelling, everything just hits on a soft note, just grazing your ear drums.

The 4 man band is based out of Australia and so far has just released one EP (Back From The Dead) and is working on their debut album. From the EP I think one track easily stands out, that track also happens to be the reason why they gained the small popularity that they do have. Aside from Honolulu the EP still has 3 other songs worth your time. I hope Last Dinosaurs ends up catching on over here in the US. Right now though you can't even buy their music in the US iTunes music store yet. When they do decide to make their US debut, it should be a crikey day.
