New: Beirut - East Harlem

Beirut is an American band whose sound has always intrigued me from the first listen of their first LP Gulag Orkestar years back. The band has somewhat of an Eastern European folk sound to them that I really like.

This new single, entitled East Harlem, is vintage Beirut. The ukulele and horns are the prominent instruments featured in the song, as is the case with many of the band's other work. I enjoy the vibe from this song, it has a subtle sound to it. I'm also a fan of the the vocalist Zach Condon. He just has an easygoing voice that doesn't bother you at all. His voice complements the sound of the song. Check it out below:
