ANY GIVEN SATURDAY #4

I'm back ladies and gentleman, and I'm the same as before. Man Any Given Saturday #4, I remember when I just started and I was a rookie. Let's just say if this were the NBA I'd be in the all-star game.... just call me Blake Griffin. You know it's really hard to write stuff in the opening paragraph because I don't want to be repetitive, and I want to keep you guys hooked on this bad boy. Maybe one day I'll give you 16 bars... if you're lucky. Or maybe I'll just stop... naaaaahhhh. Can't stop won't stop. Lets get into these songs.

1) Mr. Aubrey Graham's album leaked this week, and well I wasn't one of those people who downloaded the leak. Sometimes the leaks are a little sketch and I ain't about that life. All of the Take Care noise got me into somewhat of a Drake mood so I decided to listen to Thank Me Later the past week. What's funny about Thank Me Later is that just recently Drake said he " Wasn't necessarily happy with it," when he said that I was thinking to myself "Really? I liked it a lot". To me this album was under rated because there were so many slow tracks on it and people weren't used to that Drake, but he said with Take Care he's more confident with it. Take Care comes out 11/15, support Drake and buy it.  This is one of my favorite tracks of the album "Fireworks" featuring Alicia Keys. I still listen to this song to this day, because Drake's opening verse is one of my favorites of his.

2) Cudderrrs. Kid Cudi is currently working on a rock album called Wizard, but he hasn't quit rapping. Kid Cudi has never disappointed me. Both of the Man on the Moons were legit, and are still on my iPod. He's always delivered, and lately the videos he's been in have been awesome, the "Mr.Rager" visual was awesome, and it blew my mind. This song is on Man on The Moon II:The Legend of Mr. Rager. I enjoyed this album a lot and "REVOFEV" is one of my favorite tracks on the album. Another reason why I like this song, because he performs it really well live also. Gotta give him props for that, because some artists are pretty bad live.

3) Time to slow it down a little bit. Maxwell is a legend, and can release awesome music whenever he wants. I learned about Maxwell from "Pretty Wings" and I thought that song was cool, but this song got me hooked on him. Maxwell's range of voice is crazy because he can hit all types of notes. "This Woman's Work" is a cover of the original song which was by Kate Bush. I remember when I listened to this song for the 1st time in my friend's car and I thought it was a beautiful song, and it still has that effect on me. Maxwell is planning to release some stuff soon so keep a look-out for that.

This was fun. I appreciate the read guys, I really do. I take a lot of pride in doing this, and I enjoy doing this. I hope you guys are reading this as well.
