Any Given Saturday #2

Whats up TQF Gang! I'm back for another weekly dose of Any Given Saturday. It's an honor to do this weekly and just show you guys what I've been listening to. Shout out to Mueez for showing me all that love in his previous posts, just doing what I gotta do. Ya Feel Me! Also these "shhh" pictures I find take alot of research to find. This picture is when Kobe Bryant had a BIGTIME 4 point play against Spain in the Gold Medal Game against Spain in the 2008 Olympics. Anyways Lets get into this songs. Whoo!
1) This song is really special to me, because this song really got me hooked onto the D.C. native Wale. I remember the 1st time I listened to this song was on a Rajon Rondo mix on Youtube, and I thought it was such a mellow song and that's what I'm usually into. The song "New Soul" featuring Yael Naim was on a mixtape that Wale released in 2009 called Back to the Feature. The whole tape is legit, and I'll probably post more songs from the tape in the near future. This song is tight, because Wale's flow is so smooth and the metaphors are really nice. Also Wale's album Ambition is coming out next week so make sure to get that bad boy. There's a lot of hype surrounding it, and I'm pretty sure Wale will deliver.

2) Now this song right here is a classic Lil Wayne song. Wayne even said that it was one of his favorite songs, and a lot of his fans agree. "Hustler Musik" was on Wayne's 5th studio album Tha Carter II. At first I wasn't really into this song, because back in the day I never really appreciated smooth rap.... I guess that's what you can call it. I was really into hard beats and what not, but then I grew up. Anyways check the song out, it's a classic from Wayne.
3) Now for a little switch up in genres of music. Adele has been killin' it lately on the charts, 21 has sold over 2.1 million copies in the United States. Kudos to Adele. I was doing homework one night and than all of a sudden this song came up on my shuffle and the first thing that popped into my mind was that this song is legit. The reason I really like this song is because the song reminds me of the Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose, because he plays for the Bulls and he's from Chicago and he takes a lot of pride into representing his city night in and night out. Shout out to Derrick Rose for what he did the past season, I know he's reading this. This song was Adele's first single on her first album 19. Adele's voice is so nice, and she killed it.... as usual.
Thank you for reading this. Leave comments on how I can improve or just show me some LOVE! I appreciate you guys and I'll keep this up. Follow us on Twitter. By the way the story from the Childish Gambino concert will be posted..... next week. Get your popcorn ready.
